Prêparant is a nonprofit membership association dedicated to supporting education by providing information and services to parents and children that will best prepare children for post-secondary school educations and ultimately for successful careers.
Prêparant accomplishes this goal:
- by sponsoring and presenting education, advocacy, research, and charitable service programs designed to assist parents and children in recognizing the skills and commitments needed to reach their educational goals;
- by providing information to parents about child development, early learning, youth sports, high school guidance, college admissions, and college life;
- by giving direction to parents and students about searching for and applying to colleges, universities, and trade schools;
- by directing parents and students to cost savings for education services, including early learning products, childcare, home computers, software, school supplies, books, home schooling supplies, dormitory room furniture, and college moving services;
- and by providing parents and students with important educational information, including for travel services, emergency medical assistance, and college saving plans, along with education loans, internships, scholarships, and work study programs.
